The Mattress
The Dura Beds Air Plus Gel mattress is very cleverly designed indeed. It contains multiple elements that offer maximum comfort and temperature regulation. The supportive quilted mattress is a 2,000 pocket spring unit and is able to remain cool throughout the night.
It features a luxurious Air Plus Gel layer, cooling cover and a breather vent on all sides, with a pocket spring core. These springs mean there is a lot of air in the mattress, free to move around thanks to the breather vents, and as you move in the night, the mattress pulls fresh air through, keeping you cooler still.
This mattress is finished with a foam encapsulation. Doing so increases the comfortable sleeping surface up to 10% more, allowing you to lay comfortable right up to the mattress edge.
For best use, this cool gel mattress needs to be flipped over and rotated once per season, alternating between the two processes. We recommend this is done more often in the early weeks after delivery to ensure even settlement. There are handles for easy movement when needed.
